Bernie Kosar Exits Cleveland Browns

     Former University of Miami Hurricanes and Miami Dolphins quarterback Bernie Kosar is no longer with the Cleveland Browns organization due to placing a bet on the team last Friday. Kosar was contracted to provide Browns team content for the last couple of years. 

     There was an NFL policy where team employees and contractors are not allowed to make wagers on their own National Football League club. Sports betting became legal in Ohio on January 1. 

     Kosar began to work as a contributor and podcast host at the Cleveland Browns flagship radio station ESPN Cleveland WKNR-AM in September 2020. He later added duties on the Cleveland Browns Radio Network as a pregame show analyst.
