Nashville Stars Baseball Adds Don Mattingly

     Former Miami Marlins manager Don Mattingly has been named an advisor to Nashville Stars Baseball. He will continue as a bench coach of the Toronto Blue Jays for the upcoming 2023 Major League Baseball season. 

     Mattingly managed the Marlins from 2016 until 2022. He played for the New York Yankees from 1982 to 1995. 

     Nashville Stars Baseball is associated with Music City Baseball, LLC. Nashville has been hoping for a Major League Baseball expansion franchise should MLB Commissioner Rob Manfred increase the number of baseball clubs from 30 teams to 32 teams in the future.
