Miguel Rojas Traded To Dodgers

The Miami Marlins have traded shortstop Miguel Rojas to the Los Angeles Dodgers for infielder Jacob Amaya. The Marlins continue to formulate their infield for the upcoming 2023 season. Rojas was acquired by the Marlins from the Dodgers in a seven-player deal back in December 2014.
Rojas played eight seasons with the Fish. He helped the Marlins get to the postseason in 2020 for the first time in 17 years. Rojas had 38 home runs, 260 runs batted in and a .265 batting average in 870 games.
Amaya has been in the Dodgers minor league system since 2017. He split his time last season between Tulsa in Double-A and Oklahoma City in Triple-A. Amaya had 17 home runs and 71 runs batted in during 133 contests in 2022.
