Rick Sanchez Update

     Former Miami newscaster Rick Sanchez continues as a podcast host, chief executive officer and president at Agua Media. He was the co-founder of the company with Sol Trujillo. 
     Sanchez was a news anchor at WSVN-TV Channel 7 for over a decade during the 1980s and 1990s. He became a news anchor at MSNBC. Sanchez returned to Miami at WTVJ-TV Channel 6 as an afternoon talk show host and later became a news anchor. 
     He returned to national stage as a weekend daytime news anchor at CNN and eventually was promoted to weekday mid-afternoon studio host. Sanchez was a radio game analyst of Florida International University football games from 2011 to 2013. He joined WIOD-AM as an afternoon host in January 2013 and was elevated to late morning host in January 2014. 
     Sanchez would return to national television. He was a studio host for Fox News Channel, Fox News Latino, Mundo Fox and America TeVe. Sanchez joined RT America as a weekday studio host in October 2018 and later employed at Univision.
