Florida Panthers Unique Road Trip

The Florida Panthers began an unusual road trip yesterday. They will play four games in four different time zone this week.
It is rare for the National Hockey League to set a schedule like this for a team from the east coast. It has not happened to Florida since the 2017-18 season when it occurred twice. The Panthers travelled to Detroit, Chicago, Colorado, Vegas and Arizona on one road trip. The club went to Edmonton, Vancouver, Calgary, Winnipeg and Toronto on another road trip later that season.
The Panthers started their current road trip in Detroit against the Red Wings in the Eastern Time Zone on Friday night. The Cats will visit the Dallas Stars in the Central Time Zone on Sunday afternoon. Florida continues west and face the Colorado Avalanche at Denver in the Mountain Time Zone on Tuesday night. They conclude the road swing on Thursday night in the Pacific Time Zone and challenge the Vegas Golden Knights in Las Vegas.
