Brinson was with the Miami Marlins from 2018 to 2021 and helped the club reach the postseason in 2020 for the first time in 17 years. He had 23 home runs, 102 runs batted in and a .203 batting average in 320 games with the Marlins. He played 16 contests last season with the San Francisco Giants.
