Krantz started as a producer with WQAM. He moved to Sports Talk 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM when it switched to a sports format in August 2004 and was the morning producer of The Joe Rose Show.
He returned with Rose to WQAM-AM in 2007 as the executive producer of the morning show and eventually added duties as an on-air sidekick. Krantz was elevated to afternoon co-host with Marc Hochman in April 2014. That program added Channing Crowder in August 2015.
Krantz was shifted back to morning show as on-air sidekick with Joe Rose in May 2017 and later received the title of morning co-host. He has co-hosted a weekly evening show on WQAM called Zach and The Nose for the past year.
