Heat Ruin Clippers

     The Miami Heat knocked off the Los Angeles Clippers 110-100 at Crypto.com Arena on Monday night. The Heat, who were involved in their first game of the 2023 calendar year, have won four of their last five games. 
     Miami(20-18) leaped out to a 34-28 advantage at the end of the first quarter. The Heat compiled a 24-7 run during the second quarter and led 67-49 at halftime. 
     Los Angeles(21-18) dominated the third quarter with a 30-10 spurt and were ahead 83-81 at the end of the frame. Miami scored seven unanswered points to begin the fourth quarter and capped the contest on a 14-5 run. 
     The Heat were led by Bam Adebayo with a double-double of 31 points and 13 rebounds for game-highs. Tyler Herro added 23 points with seven rebounds while Victor Oladipo dropped in 15 points. Paul George scored a team-high 25 points for the Clippers.
