The Palm Beach Post has shifted Anthony Chiang to the University of Miami Hurricanes beat writer position and replaces Matt Porter. He has covered the Miami Heat for the past couple of years alongside Tom D'Angelo.
Chiang was first known locally as a high school sports writer for the South Florida Sun-Sentinel in the early 2010s. He became the lead high school sports reporter at the Palm Beach Post in 2013 when he took over for Porter and Jeff Greer. He was elevated to the Miami Heat beat in 2015.
