The Miami Marlins shut out the Tampa Bay Rays 3-0 at Marlins Park on Wednesday. The Fish have won four of their last six games.
Miami(36-51) put up a couple of runs in the sixth inning. J.T. Riddle tripled to deep center field for Starlin Castro to score. J.B. Schuck followed and drove in Riddle on a fielder's choice to second.
Tampa Bay(42-43) surrendered another run in the bottom of the eighth. Riddle smacked a solo home run to right field on a 3-1 pitch.
