The Philadelphia Phillies blanked the Miami Marlins 2-0 at Marlins Park on Friday night. Miami(39-57) have won 10 of their last 19 games.
Philadelphia(53-40) took the lead during the second period. Aaron Altherr knocked in Jeff Kingery with a double to left field.
The Phillies added an insurance run in the top of the ninth. Maikel Franco smashed a solo home run to left field on a 0-1 count.
