Chris Kokell began his new Saturday late morning show at 640 The Hurricane WMEN-AM over this past weekend. He joined the organization last month as a high school football website reporter.
Kokell had previously worked at ESPN West Palm 106.3 WUUB-FM. He was a weekend co-host with Joe Colella during the mid 2010s. Kokell was promoted to the evening co-host position in January 2017. He held that position until the summer then joined the Jensen Beach Falcons as a defensive coordinator.
He had stints as a head football coach with the Forest Hill Falcons and Olympic Heights Lions. Kokell was a television game analyst on Friday night football contests for WTVX-TV Channel 34 during the 2014 season.
