Former West Palm Beach sportscaster Joe Girvan has been named the radio football play-by-play announcer of Fort Myers High School for the upcoming 2018 regular season. The contests will be heard on WFSX-AM and WFSX-FM.
Girvan came to South Florida from Gainesville where he was a sports host on WRUF-FM and a sportscaster on Gainesville Television Network. He joined ESPN Radio 760 WEFL-AM as a sportscaster and WPTV-TV as a weekend sports anchor. Girvan left for WBBH-TV in Fort Myers to become a sports anchor.
