Former South Florida sportscaster Jorge Sedano appeared this week as an ESPN sideline reporter for NBA Summer League Basketball in Las Vegas. He currently is a studio co-host of Nacion ESPN on ESPN2 and a morning co-host on KSPN-AM in Los Angeles.
Sedano was a sports talk radio host in Miami for 13 years. He had a stint with 1700 The Fan WAFN-AM from 1999 until December 2000 where he co-hosted a show during the final six months. Fox Sports Radio 940 WRFX-AM flipped to a sports format in 2002 and he hosted a sports show there until July 2004 when Clear Channel Communications flipped it back to a news/talk format. He added duties as a morning sports anchor at Newsradio 610 WIOD-AM, studio host of the Miami Heat Radio Network and an overnight host on Fox Sports Radio.
He left all three positions in July 2007 and joined Sports Talk 790 The Ticket in August 2007. Sedano was first the midday host there and then was elevated to morning show host from April 2009 to April 2012.
Sedano joined to Sportsradio 560 WQAM-AM as he took on the role of program director and afternoon host from August 2012 to August 2013. He landed at ESPN Radio to became the evening co-host in September 2013 and stayed there until September 2016. He moved to Los Angeles and has been the morning co-host on KSPN-AM for the past two years.
