The Palm Beach Post will no longer cover the Miami Heat on a regular basis. Anthony Chiang has been shifted to cover University of Miami Hurricanes athletics while Tom D'Angelo will contribute reports on the Miami Dolphins, Miami Hurricanes and other South Florida sporting events.
There was a point earlier this decade that the Palm Beach Post previously stopped covering the Miami Heat. Chris Perkins was the Heat beat writer when newspaper decided to cut back on Heat coverage at the start of the 2009-10 season. After the Miami Heat signed LeBron James and Chris Bosh in July 2010 to form The Big Three, the Palm Beach Post named Ethan J. Skolnick their new beat writer to cover the team.
