Dade County chalked up 21 teams for the football playoffs. Large schools include Miami Central, Columbus, Mami Norland, Booker T. Washington, Homestead, South Dade, Miami Palmetto, Goleman, Southridge, Doral Academy, Gulliver Prep, Monsignor Pace, American, Hialeah, Belen Jesuit, St. Brendan and North Miami Beach. The small schools are Westminster Christian, Archbishop Carroll, Tru North Academy and Palmer Trinity.
Broward County is represented very well with 21 high schools. Central Broward County consists of St. Thomas Aquinas, Cardinal Gibbons, Blanche Ely, Dillard, Stranahan, American Heritage, Western, Cypress Bay, Piper, Plantation and Cavalry Christian Academy. The only teams from North Broward County are Monarch, Marjory Stoneman Douglas, Coconut Creek and North Broward Prep. South Broward County has Chaminade-Madonna, Miramar, South Broward, West Broward, McArthur and Avant Garde Academy.
Palm Beach County ends up with 14 high schools in the postseason. South Palm Beach County has Atlantic, West Boca Raton, Boca Raton, Spanish River, St. Andrew's, Santaluces and Somerset Academy Canyons. The Central Palm Beach County area puts in Cardinal Newman, Palm Beach Central, The King's Academy and Pahokee. North Palm Beach County has Jupiter, Palm Beach Gardens and Benjamin.
St. Lucie County has two teams with Treasure Coast and Fort Pierce Westwood. Jensen Beach is the only squad from Martin County. Indian River County has just one representative with Vero Beach.
