Bruins Beat Panthers

     The Boston Bruins took the Florida Panthers 3-1 at Amerant Bank Arena on Wednesday night. Both clubs are at the top of the Atlantic Division standings. The Panthers had their six-game home winning streak stopped. 
     Boston(14-1-3) had a 1-0 advantage with 1:25 to go in the opening period. Charlie Coyle put in a backhand shot for his seventh goal of the campaign. 
     Florida(12-6-1) tied it 1-1 at the 9:27 mark of the second period when Anton Lundell deflected in a shot past Linus Ullmark for his second tally this year. Evan Rodrigues and Nick Cousins chalked up the assists on the play. 
     The B's reclaimed the lead 2-1 just 41 seconds later on the third goal this season by John Beecher. He moved around Sergei Bobrovsky. slid the puck toward the cage and it went off Oliver Ekman-Larsson.
     The Bruins expanded it to a two-goal margin. Jake DeBrusk stuffed in a wrist shot from the right of the crease for his second goal of the year with 5:41 remaining.
