Nets Cover Heat

     The Brooklyn Nets passed by the Miami Heat 112-97 at Barclays Center on Saturday night. It was the third contest for the Heat in the last four days. Jimmy Butler and Bam Adebayo did not participate in the game for the Heat. 
     Brooklyn(7-8) broke out to a 26-22 in the opening quarter. The Nets continued to roll and had a 63-53 lead at halftime. Miami(10-7) remained behind by double digits 90-76 at the end of the third quarter. 
     Caleb Martin churned out a team-high 22 points coming off the bench for the Heat. Jaime Jaquez Jr. dropped in 18 points in the defeat. 
     All five Nets starters chalked up double-figure scoring. Mikal Bridges poured in a game-high 24 points. Cameron Johnson compiled a double-double of 18 points along with 10 rebounds.
