Miami(8-5) outscored the Bulls 26-14 during the first quarter. The Heat remained in front by halftime 50-40. Chicago(5-9) barely cut the lead and were down 76-68 at the end of the third quarter. Miami was up 82-72 with 8:39 to go in the fourth. The Bulls then went on a 30-15 run for the remainder of the contest.
Jimmy Butler scored a game-high 25 points for the Heat. Bam Adebayo helped out with a double-double of 24 points and 10 rebounds. Duncan Robinson added 17 points and seven assists in the loss.
All the Chicago starters were able to get double-digit scoring. DeMar DeRozan led the Bulls with 23 points.
