Blackhawks Whomp Panthers

     The Chicago Blackhawks whipped the Florida Panthers 5-2 at United Center on Saturday night. The Panthers completed a three-game road swing.
     Chicago(4-6-0) steamrolled over the Cats with three goals in the first period. Nick Foligno, Nikita Zaitsev and Taylor Hall found the net in the first 13 minutes of play. 
     It became 4-0 for the Blackhawks at the 5:29 mark of the second period. Connor Bedard started the scoring as he extended his goal streak to three games. 
     In the third period, Florida(5-4-1) picked up goals from Oliver Ekman-Larsson and Matthew Tkachuk to make it 5-2. Phillip Karashev capped things for Chicago on an empty-net tally with 10 seconds remaining.
