North Carolina State Outduels Hurricanes

     The North Carolina State University Wolfpack held off the University of Miami Hurricanes 20-6 at Carter-Finley Stadium on Saturday night. The Hurricanes will travel up to Tallahassee and face their main rival the Florida State University Seminoles next week. 
     Miami6-3, 2-3) got a field goal by Andres Borregales from 48 yards away at 7:03 of the first quarter. North Carolina State(6-3, 3-2) moved ahead 7-6 when M.J. Morris threw a 12-yard pass to Jordan Poole in the end zone with 2:17 to go in the first. 
     The Canes picked a 27-yard field goal from Borregales at the 13:13 mark of the second quarter and trailed 7-6. N,C, State had a 39-yard field goal by Brayden Naverson with 3:00 remaining in the second. and had a 10-6 lead. 
     It became 17-10 for North Carolina State when Kendrick Raphael rushed in from 31 yards out for the score with 5:03 left in the fourth quarter. Naverson booted a 19-yard field goal for the Wolfpack with 1:40 remaining to cap the victory.
