Panthers Crowned By Kings

     The Florida Panthers were overthrown by the Los Angeles Kings 2-1 at Crypto.com Arena on Thursday night. The Panthers continued their three-game road swing and will play tomorrow night in Anaheim against the Ducks. 
     Los Angeles(9-3-3) raced out to a 1-0 lead in the first period at the 1:20 mark. Kevin Fiala backhanded a shot for his third tally of the year. The Cats had just one shot in the first 10 minutes of the contest. 
     The Kings increased their lead to 2-0 with 6:07 left in the second period on a power-play goal. Anze Kopitar fired a slap shot past Sergei Bobrovsky for his eighth goal of the season. 
     In the third period, Florida(10-5-1) broke the shutout with 9:15 remaining. Sam Reinhart picked up his 13th goal this season on a snap shot past Cam Talbot. Carter Verhaeghe and Aleksander Barkov collected assists on the play.
