The Bulls played in their first postseason contest since 2013. West Boca Raton(9-2) won their first FHSAA Playoff game since 2007.
Atlantic(9-2) had a 7-0 lead after the first quarter. West Boca Raton(9-2) reached the end zone and tied it 7-7 in the second quarter before halftime.
The Eagles scored a touchdown and the Bulls picked up a safety during the third quarter for an Atlantic 14-9 lead. Atlantic was up 22-16 in the final minute of the fourth. Bulls wide receiver Kyle Andrews caught a hail-marry pass in the end zone with no time remaining in the game to tie it up 22-22. They booted the extra point and won the contest. West Boca Raton will travel to the Coconut Creek Cougars for a regional semifinal matchup next Friday.
