1400 The Fan Hosts Return

    Several former 1400 The Fan WFLL-AM sports talk hosts made appearances on the local South Florida radio airwaves on July 4. Anita Marks did an NBC Sports Radio Network show as she hosted a midday show and an evening show that was aired on 640 Sports WMEN-AM. She usually does a regular weekend midday show for that organization. Marc Benarzyk, who now goes by the name Marc James, filled in on the CBS Sports Radio Network on a late night shift and was heard on Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM. He did a prior show for the company on Memorial Day weekend.
    Both Marks and Benarzyk once worked at 1400 The Fan when it was a sports talk station from April 2004 until May 2006. Marks started there as a morning co-host and later shifted to the afternoon shift in early 2006. She then left for Baltimore and ESPN 1300 WJFK-AM in April 2006. Benarzyk began at 1400 The Fan as a midday host in April 2004 and was shifted to afternoon drive in the fall of 2004. He became the morning show host in early 2006 until the station flipped from a sports talk format in May 2006.
