Mike Miller Clears Waivers

Former Miami Heat guard Mike Miller has cleared amnesty waivers on Thursday. He can now sign with any other team in the NBA except the Miami Heat. He was waived via the amnesty clause by the club on Tuesday.
Miller helped the franchise win two NBA championships and three Eastern Conference titles in his three years with the team. He signed a five-year, $25 million contract with Miami in July 2010. His biggest impact was in Game 5 of the 2011-12 NBA Finals against the Oklahoma City Thunder when he made seven three-point shots and finished with 23 points in the series-clinching game. It brought the Miami Heat their second NBA championship in franchise history. He did start in the final three games of the 2012-13 NBA Finals against the San Antonio Spurs.
