Fish Shut Out Rockies

Jose Fernanadez allowed no runs on four hits in seven innings pitched as the Miami Marlins blanked the Colorado Rockies 3-0 at Marlins Park on Saturday night. Fernandez improved to 10-5 this season and lowered his ERA to 2.30. There was limited offense as both teams combined for eight total hits in the game.
Steve Cishek captured his 23rd consecutive save for the Marlins and now has 28 saves in 2013. Colorado(60-71) starting pitcher Jeff Manship pitched six innings and gave up three runs on four hits as his record dropped to 0-4.
Miami(49-79) got all of their three runs during the fourth inning. Giancarlo Stanton led off with a double to left field and advanced to third on a Logan Morrison ground out to first. Ed Lucas followed with a base hit into left field for Stanton to score to make it 1-0. Adeiny Hechavarria knocked in Lucas on a triple to deep center field. Hechavarria would cross the plate on a sacrifice fly by Jake Marisnick to right field.
