One Year Of Sid Rosenberg At WMEN

Sid Rosenberg celebrated his one-year anniversary as the morning show host at 640 Sports WMEN-AM on August 13. He also hosted a Sunday morning one-hour football show during the NFL season in 2012. Along with writing a book You're Wrong And Your Ugly in 2010, he has made many numerous stops during his illustrious radio career.
Rosenberg, a Brooklyn native, worked at CBS Sportsline in Fort Lauderdale first as a salesperson then as a sports co-host with Scott Kaplan. They moved their show The Drive to New York City and worked mornings at 102.7 WNEW-FM.
He then landed at Sports Radio 66 WFAN-AM where he was the morning sports anchor for the Imus In The Morning Show. He added midday co-host duties with Jody McDonald and later with Joe Benigno. He worked there from 2001 until September 2005 when he was let go after not showing up for the New York Giants pregame show as studio host.
Rosenberg returned to Florida and joined 790 The Ticket WAXY-AM in late 2005 as a fill-in host. He was promoted to co-host middays with former Miami Dolphins player O.J. McDuffie. After the departure of Joe Rose to Sports Radio 560 WQAM-AM, he was reassigned to become the morning show host. He held that position until May 2009 when he was released from that station.
He joined WQAM in September 2009 as a midday host. Rosenberg moved to the afternoon shift in June 2010 and replaced Curtis Stevenson and Anita Marks. He held the spot until early April 2012 when he was fired for his arrest of DUI and driving with a suspended license.
