Hubbard Radio has agreed to acquire 640 The Hurricane WMEN-AM along with five other West Palm Beach radio stations from Alpha Media. WMEN began to be operated by Alpha Media in February 2016.
640 The Hurricane has run a sports talk format at that station since March 2008. Atalaya Capital Management headed by Marc Jorgenson had purchased the station in a auction from James Crystal Enterprises in April 2015.
