The Wellington Wolverines visit the Park Vista Cobras at GL Homes Stadium on Friday night. It is a battle between two of the top large schools in Palm Beach County.
Wellington(1-1) played their home opener and beat the Royal Palm Beach Wildcats 38-0. Last week things spiraled down as they were shut out by the Vero Beach Indians 46-0 at the Citrus Bowl.
The major focus on the team is running back Mark-Antony Richards who can reach the end zone on any offensive play and on special teams. Quarterback Austin Wallace and running back Jadien Durant comprises the rest of the Wolverines backfield.
Park Vista(1-1) had their first two games of the regular season on the road. They were surprised and lost the season opener to the Dwyer Panthers 40-0 and bounced back with a 31-0 shutout victory over the West Boca Raton Bulls last week.
Running backs Nick King and Joshua Jean will get their share of carries on offense. Cobras quarterback Tyler Thomas has several targets to pass to which includes wide receivers Aydin Henningham, Mason Proch and Lucas Deininger.
