Shandel Richardson will be leaving the South Florida Sun-Sentinel on September. He will joining The Athletic Miami as their new Miami Heat beat writer.
Richardson covered the Miami Heat alongside Ira Winderman at the newspaper. He started at the Sun-Sentinel back in 2003 as a high school sports reporter. Richardson was later promoted and wrote about the University of Miami athletic program.
