It took 13 innings for the New York Mets to top the Miami Marlins 1-0 at Citi Field on Saturday night. Both clubs will play their final games of the 2018 season on Sunday. Mets captain David Wright played in his last game of his major league career.
New York(76-85) had to wait until the bottom of the 13th inning to finally win the contest against Miami(63-97). Austin Jackson hit a double into left-center field for Michael Conforto to cross the plate and get the victory.
