The Miami Marlins downed the Cincinnati Reds 5-1 at Marlins Park on Saturday night. It was the second-to-last for the Fish at home this season.
Miami(61-93) dropped a couple of runs in the fourth inning. Lewis Brinson knocked in J.T. Realmunto with a single into center. Austin Dean then singled to right which brought in Brian Anderson.
The Marlins made it a five-run margin in the bottom of the sixth. Anderson drove in Realmtuo on a base hit to left field. Dean followed as he walloped a three-run homer to left field on a 0-1 count.
Cincinnati(66-90) got their only tally during the eighth inning. Gabriel Guerrero belted a solo home run to right field on the first pitch.
