Former Florida Panthers forward Anthony Stewart began his new role as the co-host of Hockey Central on Monday. The midday program is simulcast on NHL Network, Sportsnet and 590 The Fan CJCL-AM in Toronto. He replaced one-time Florida Panthers head coach Doug MacLean and Nick Kypreos.
Stewart has worked as a sports talk host on CJCL for over a year. He filled in as a panelist on Hockey Central several times during the 2018-19 season. Stewart played with the Panthers from 2005 to 2009 and had 12 points in 105 games.
