The Miami Heat defeated the Milwaukee Bucks 131-126 in overtime on Saturday night. The Heat have won their first two games of the 2019-20 season.
Milwaukee(1-1) had a 33-29 lead after one quarter and extended it to 70-53 by halftime. Miami(2-0) chipped away at the deficit and trailed 93-82 after the third quarter. The Heat outscored the Bucks 39-28 in the fourth quarter and took the contest into overtime. Miami had a 10-5 advantage in the extra session.
Goran Dragic led the Heat with a team-high 25 points and eight assists. Bam Adebayo carried a double-double of 19 points and 13 rebounds while Justise Winslow added 10 points along with 13 rebounds. Giannis Anterkounmpo fell short of a triple-double with a game-high 29 points, 17 rebounds and nine assists for the Bucks.
