Former Miami Heat guard Brian Shaw has joined NBC Sports Bay Area as a Golden State Warriors television studio analyst. He has not done any broadcasting work prior to this position.
Shaw played for the Miami Heat during the mid-1990s for two seasons and helped the club to a playoff appearance in 1994. He later won three consecutive NBA championships with the Los Angeles Lakers from 2000 to 2002. Shaw became the head coach of the Denver Nuggets from June 2013 until March 2015. He was also an assistant coach with the Lakers and Indiana Pacers.
