The Miami Heat knocked off the Atlanta Hawks 106-97 on Thursday night. It was the second time in three days that the Heat defeated the Hawks.
At the end of the first quarter, Miami(4-1) lead 30-26. The Heat were still ahead 52-46 at halftime. Atlanta(2-3) could not make a dent in the second half and were down 85-75 after three quarters.
Kendtick Nunn put in a game-high 28 points for the Heat and Tyler Herro added 17 points. Jimmy Butler fell short of a double-double with 12 assists and nine rebounds. Jabari Parker compiled a team-high 23 points for the Hawks.
