The Pittsburgh Steelers got by the Miami Dolphins 27-14 at Heinz Field on Monday night. The Fins are now winless after seven games.
Miami(0-7) took the initial lead 7-0 at the 10:58 mark of the first quarter. Quarterback Ryan Fitzpatrick threw a five-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Albert Wilson.
The Dolphins extended the gap to 14-0 with 1:41 left in the first. Wide receiver Allen Hurns caught a 12-yard pass on the left side for a score.
The Steelers began to slowly cut the deficit late in the second quarter. Chris Boswell kicked a 42-yard field goal with 2:49 to go. Quarterback Mason Rudolph fired a 45-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Diontae Johnson with 26 seconds remaining and they trailed 14-10.
The entire second half belonged to Pittsburgh(3-4). Rudolph connected a 26-yard toss to wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster for their first lead of the contest.
In the fourth quarter, running back James Conner rambled through the middle and scored from nine yards out at 12:05. Boswell added some insurance with 5:37 left on a 41-yard field goal.
