The Lake Worth Trojans head west to Greenacres and face the John I. Leonard Lancers on Friday night. It is a battle between two District 11-8A schools.
Lake Worth(2-5, 0-2) stopped a five-game losing streak last week with a 42-13 victory over Spanish River. The Trojans are led on offense by quarterback Ke'andre Hollis. He along with running back Del Louidor can control the pace of the game with their rushing attack. Hollis looks to pass the ball to wide receivers Jocely Celin and Brendan Dennis.
John I. Leonard(2-6, 0-2) have not played a game in the last two weeks. They fell to Santaluces 22-0 in their last contest. Quarterback Jadiel Cruz attempts to connect passes to wide receivers Ahmad Orange, Jonel Dieujuste and Brandon McCrary downfield. Running backs Henry Dean and Kenneth Charles will get their share of carries.
