The Palm Beach Gardens Gators host the Park Vista Cobras on Friday night at Mullinax Ford Stadium. It is a battle between two Class 8A Palm Beach County schools from different districts.
Park Vista(4-2) have won four of their last five contests. They had wins over Boynton Beach, Wellington, Spanish River and John I. Leonard. Running back Markel King will get his opportunities to rush with the ball. The Cobras can either go with Riley Klaus or Gio Thomas in the quarterback position. They can connect passes down the field to wide receivers Frantz Derival, Woodlife Alminord and Courtney Carter.
Palm Beach Gardens(4-1) started the season with victories over Suncoast, John I. Leonard and Forest Hill. They lost by one point to Glades Central and bounced back last week with a 34-0 shutout win of Jupiter. Gators quarterback Tyler Kolb will attempt to find wide receivers Myron Levy and Rafael Vasquez. They can have running back Ernest Blackshear gain yardage on many carries.
