The Cardinal Newman Crusaders challenge the American Heritage Stallions at The Corral in Delray Beach on Friday night. Both schools are fighting for a top six playoff seed in their classifications.
Cardinal Newman(5-2) has won three of their last four games. They fell at home to Treasure Coast 43-12 last week. The Crusaders have a strong rushing attack with running backs Chris D'Or and Jaydon Hood. They will depend on quarterback Austin Wallace to command their offense.
American Heritage(5-3) had their three-game winning streak snapped last week by defending Champagnat Catholic 20-15. The Stallions have faced only one Palm Beach County school this season which is Benjamin. Quarterback Zachary Bohannon can guide their offense down the field.
