The Dwyer Panthers visit the Boca Raton Bobcats on Friday night in a non-district contest. Both schools were district rivals back in the mid-2000s.
Dwyer(3-5) have lost their last two games. The Panthers will end the 2019 season with a losing record and finish with their worst record in over two decades. Running backs Fredrick Gauberg and Kamari Burns will split the rushing opportunities. Their main wide receiver threats at Austin Thompson and Terel Harris.
Boca Raton(6-3) has improved during the season and are on a four-game winning streak. They finished second behind Deerfield Beach in District 12 of Class 8A and have scored at least 38 points in their last three games. The Bobcats have options in the backfield with running backs Trey Rainey, Stalens Demeus and Tra'Nell Hollis. Quarterback Andrew Cavarly calls the signals on offense.
