The Miami Heat were beaten by the Atlanta Hawks 127-92 on Thursday night at State Farm Arena. The Heat lost for the first time in the preseason and moved their record to 4-1. They finish the preseason at home on Friday night against the Boston Celtics.
Atlanta rocketed out to a 33-17 after one quarter against their division rivals. They extended it to a huge 67-43 lead by halftime. Miami was unable to get any traction and trailed 97-72 at the end of three quarters.
