Heat Squeeze By Hornets

     The Miami Heat got by the Charlotte Hornets 104-103 at FTX Arena on Monday night. The Heat have been victorious in all four of their preseason contests. 
     Miami had a 27-24 edge at the end of one quarter, however Charlotte surpassed them with a 14-3 spurt at the end of the second quarter and led 53-47 at halftime. The Hornets stayed ahead 78-77 after three quarters. The Heat scored the last 13 points in the final 3:37 of the fourth quarter to win the game. Javonte Smart made a field goal and a free throw with 7.8 seconds left to give them a 104-103 lead. 
     Bam Adebayo led Miami with a team-high 18 points and Kyle Lowry added 15 points. Miles Bridges compiled a double-double for Charlotte with a game-high 22 points and 10 rebounds.
