Former local high school pitcher Tyler Herron has passed away at the age of 35. Herron never pitched in the major leagues. He was part of the World Baseball Classic with Israel in 2017.
Herron played high school baseball with the Wellington Wolverines. He participated in minor league baseball and independent baseball from 2005 until 2021. He did pitch locally with the Palm Beach Cardinals in 2005 and had a 2-2 record with a 2.70 earned run average in 12 games.
