Marlins Shut Out Cubs

     The Miami Marlins blanked the Chicago Cubs 6-0 at Marlins Park on Sunday. The Fish were able to split the four-game series with the Cubbies. Marlins starting pitcher Dillon Peters went six inning for the victory
     Miami(2-2) piled on five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning. Chad Wallach knocked in Carmeron Maybin with a base hit to right field. Two batters later, Derek Dietrich sliced a ball to right which scored Wallach. Brian Anderson would then clear the bases with a triple into the right-center field gap to make it 5-0.
     Chicago(2-2) surrendered one more run in the sixth inning. Yadier Rivera scored from third on a wild pitch by Cubs starting pitcher Carlos Quintana with pinch-hitter Tomas Telis at-bat.
