The Pittsburgh Pirates blanked the Miami Marlins 1-0 on Saturday night at Marlins Park. Miami(4-10) have lost eight of their last ten games.
There was no scoring in the contest until the ninth inning. Pittsburgh(10-4) got the only tally when Corey Dickerson drove in Starling Marte with an infield single to second.
