Mets Roll By Marlins

     The Miami Marlins fell to the New York Mets 4-2 at Marlins Park on Monday night. The Mets have won six consecutive games and are off to their best start in franchise history. The Marlins are in a stretch in which they play 12 of their first 15 games of regular season at home.
     New York(8-1) compiled two runs in the second inning against Marlins starting pitcher Jose Urena. Adrian Gonzalez sliced a single down the right-field line to score Todd Frazier. Asdrubal Cabrera cross the plate when Kevin Plawecki grounded into a double play.
     The Mets made it a three-run margin in the third. Jay Bruce got a base hit up the middle into center field for Amed Rosario to score.
     Miami(3-7) got on the scoreboard in the bottom of the fifth inning. Derek Dietrich knocked in Brian Anderson with a base hit to left field.
     The Marlins cut the gap to 3-2 in the sixth as Anderson powered a double to left field and drove in Starlin Castro.
     In the seventh inning, New York extended their lead to 4-2. Rosario hit the ball into shallow left-center field and Gonzalez scored.
