The Miami Dolphins selected University of Alabama safety Minkah Fitzpatrick with the 11th overall pick in the first round of the 2018 NFL Draft on Thursday night. The event was held at AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas.
Fitzpatrick had a tremendous impact while in college football. He helped the Crimson Tide win two College Football Playoff National Championship in 2015 and 2017. The school also made the title game in 2016. He won the Chuck Bednarik Award and Jim Thorpe Award in 2017.
