Steve Goldstein will be part of the radio broadcast of the Kentucky Derby on Westwood One as a paddock reporter. The Kentucky Derby will be held on May 5 at Churchill Downs in Louisville.
Goldstein has been the Florida Panthers television play-by-play announcer on Fox Sports Florida since the 2007-08 season. He was the radio play-by-play announcer with the club for two years prior to that. Goldstein held the post as radio studio host for the Florida Panthers radio broadcasts for seven seasons from 1996-97 until 2003-04.
He currently does work on local television with WFOR-TV Channel 4 as a sports anchor and news anchor. Goldstein had two previous stints as a sports talk host on 560 WQAM-AM.
