The Atlantic Eagles challenge the Lake Worth Trojans at Bill Harvey Stadium on Thursday night in a district match. Atlantic is on the verge to wrap up the District 10 crown in Class 8A with a victory. The Eagles have the tiebreaker with wins over the two second-place schools Park Vista and Santaluces.
Atlantic(7-0, 4-0) is undefeated as they have non-district wins over Palm Beach Central, Dwyer and Pahokee. They have outscored their opponents 234-48 and have three shutouts to their credit.
The Eagles main emphasis is their defense with defensive lineman Henry Bryant along with their defensive backs of Javone Jackson, Kael Williams and Deandre McCray. Quarterback Kalani Ilimaleoata looks to connect passes to wide receivers Kam Williams, Tyler Burke and Tyrese Blue.
Lake Worth(1-6, 1-3) is currently on three-game losing streak. Their only victory this season was over Spanish River 22-6. The Trojans have been outscored 222-46 this year.
